Several stars were on hand to celebrate Barbie® Doll’s 50th birthday party in Malibu.  Heidi Klum, Khloe and Kourtney Kardashian, Lauren Conrad and Lauren Bosworth, Holly Robinson Peete and pop singer Aubrey O’Day were some of the lucky ladies who got to check out the custom life-size New Beetle convertible, fully loaded with rhinestones, sparkling pink paint and a motorized vanity in the trunk. The ultimate Malibu Barbie® New Beetle convertible was a hit at the Barbie doll’s Malibu Dream House® for the 50th Anniversary celebration.

Volkswagen of America, Inc. helped celebrate Barbie® doll’s 50th Birthday by customizing the ultimate Barbie® dream car. From inside and out, Barbie® doll’s New Beetle convertible has been meticulously detailed. The interior is custom white leather, the floor mats are hand stitched, the lined door pockets and armrests are pink quilted leather , even the dipstick is painted to resemble her favorite lipstick. No Barbie® doll dream car is complete without plenty of rhinestone accents and a motorized vanity in the trunk. Even the paint was labored over to create the perfect pink color for Barbie® doll’s car.
